Source-backed admissions data
Distance records are collected from public local authority documents and pages. Where possible, each record keeps the source URL, source document, admissions year, and page reference.
Enrichment process
Scraped schools are matched to official school records, enriched with government school profile fields, normalised postcodes, coordinates, and inspection metadata where available.
Quality controls
The dataset separates schools that are not expected to use distance-based Year 7 coverage, such as selective, special, alternative provision, UTC, studio, and non-Year-7 schools.
